Computacenter hosts 6th successful annual Sales Kick Off conference with the help of CI Group

Computacenter’s annual 2-day Group Kick Off event in Manchester Central brought 2000 people in the sales teams from Europe and North America together from across the world to celebrate the successes of the previous year and set the agenda for the year ahead.

A major part of the event was the Technology Village which provided a platform for Computacenters partners to engage with their global sales force. CI Group supported Computacenter with the design & delivery of their partners exhibition stands within the Technology Village. We built 13 bespoke stands for some huge brands such as Lenovo, Intel, HP and Microsoft amongst many others.

Networking and engaging with the Computacenter sales team was important to the partners (sponsors). As one of the largest global IT resellers, Computacenter secure massive enterprise contracts across a variety of sectors.

How did it all work?

Computacenter’s Partners sponsored the GKO event and in return for their sponsorship they received space in the Tech Village (show floor) to showcase their brand and their products.

Our job, as Computacenter’s preferred supplier, was to reach out to each of their partners (sponsors) and sell them a bespoke exhibition stand. We’ve worked with Computacenter on this event in the same way for the last 6 consecutive GKO’s.

Our brief from every vendor is to represent their brand & messaging and to create a powerful design that makes them stand out from the crowd, which was a tricky task as every vendor wanted to make an impact on the audience. When it came to making the stands, our dedicated team made sure to engage with vendors to design unique stands and created interesting engagement tactics that maximised footfall to each vendor. Understanding each brand’s channel marketing strategy and their objectives for the event was important as it gave us the opportunity to create bespoke and sharp designs that reflected the vendors messaging and company ethos.
