Eddie Jones has today announced his Rugby World Cup squad following an eye-catching turnaround of the form books at the weekend. Wales – predicted by many to crush an experimental England side on Sunday – were handed a heavy defeat and while Eddie insists friendly results don’t inform his selection process, each game puts his tactics into sharper focus.
Eddie remains relaxed about announcing his squad details well in advance of the official Sept 8th deadline saying “Opportunities can present themselves, all those players who have missed out have been told they have to be ready.”
